Located in the southern part of the East Suffolk district, the school is easily commutable from Ipswich and surrounding areas with ample parking on site. The school can offer long term supply, temp to perm or straight to permanent for the right candidate. The successful Science Teacher should be confident in teaching up to KS4 at least with the possibility of teaching either Physics, Chemistry or Biology to KS5.
The school can consider applications from experienced Science teachers as well as NQT's. The school is now part of a highly successful Trust of over 20 schools across Suffolk. The ideal Science Teacher will be:
A committed and reliable educator, who will want to attain the highest standards in teaching and learning throughout their role.
A collaborative and driven individual who will lead through creative approaches including the use of ICT and other resources.
Up to date knowledge of the Science curriculum, ideally with a proven track record of progression.
To be successful in this Science Teaching role you will:
Hold QTS or equivalent teaching qualifications.
Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearance (if applicable and professional reference checks.
Provide a CV covering the last 10 years of employment history, where possible, and any employment breaks must be explained.
Have the legal right to work in the UK.
