The Science Department is central to the future success of the school, has good facilities and a hard-working committed team of specialists. We are seeking a well-qualified graduate who has the ability to teach Science at every level. If you are ambitious, talented and keen to make sure students progress - then this is the job for you!
Science Teacher; September 2019; Greenwich School.
We are a busy, vibrant and happy school - academically successful but driven to achieve much more. We believe that education must maintain a balance between intellect and character. It is imperative that you have the resolve to make a significant difference to the lives of our students and the determination to support students 'become the best version of themselves'.
Your role will be:
*To be accountable for student progress and development throughout an agreed key stage in the subject area including meeting student achievement targets which are agreed by the Principal and the Governing Body.
*To assist the subject leader to ensure high standards of teaching and learning across the subject area through continuously, developing and enhancing the quality of teaching and learning.
*To ensure that all academy policies and procedures are implemented and applied consistently by all staff in the subject area.
*To assist the Subject Coordinator to ensure agreed tutor programme is implemented and that tutors are effective in their role.
