Tradewind are currently recruiting for an outstanding Science teacher for a small, yet highly regarded independent school in Welwyn, to start full-time in September and continue through the academic year. This could progress to a permanent contract for the right teacher.

Our client is a small and friendly co-educational independent school comprised of both a Prep School and a Senior school, teaching children age 2-18. They have a long history of academic excellence, with results significantly above average at GCSE and 100% pass rates achieved last year at A-Level. The school credits this to their small class sizes, engaged student body and excellent specialist teachers, who are supported by a dedicated and supportive SLT.

This role will entail teaching Science to KS5, with flexibility on specialism. As a full teaching role, there will be responsibility for planning, teaching and assessment, as well as communication with parents. The Science department is small but very close-knit and supportive, offering an excellent team to NQTs and experienced teachers alike.
