Tradewind are currently recruiting for an outstanding Science Teacher to join one of our partnership schools in Lincolnshire on a full time basis with immediate effect. We are recruiting for a small secondary school on the outskirts of Lincoln, who are in need of an excellent science teacher who can confidently deliver all three disciplines of science to Key Stage 3 & 4 students. You will be one of only 4 Science Teachers in the school, and for this reason we are looking for a practitioner who has a specialism in either Chemistry, Physics or Biology.
This position is initially to last until Easter, but realistically it is likely to last until the end of the academic year. As this is an open vacancy that has not been filled, there is the potential for a permanent position if the successful candidate enjoys the placement and is interested in working at the school on a permanent basis. All planning and marking associated with a teaching role are expected for this position and for that reason, the successful applicant can expect to be paid to scale. In real terms, this means that the successful applicant can expect to earn between £120.00 and £184.00 per day, depending on experience and qualifications.


The School in question is a small secondary school on the outskirts of Lincoln and enjoys close links with the local community and has a strong moral ethos. The school are looking for a practitioner that shares their values and will immerse themselves within the school and the ethos. You will have a teaching timetable with a healthy amount of PPA, to aid the work load. The behaviour at the school is good and all supply staff who have worked there enjoy their time at the school.

The role:
* Delivering Key Stage 3 & 4 Science
* Planning, marking and assessment
* Attending any required training and parents evenings
