A small secondary academy in West Suffolk are seeking a Science Teacher to join their welcoming team of staff from either April or September. This is a full-time position which will require you to plan and prepare your lessons, attend departmental meetings, parents' evenings and mark and assess students' work.

The school is accessible by public transport and by car with on-site parking for staff. With fantastic support in place the school are able to consider applicants who are qualified and unqualified with varying levels of experience. All disciplines (Chemistry, Biology and Physics) can also be considered.

This is a smaller than average secondary academy based in West Suffolk. This is a new school building with some of the best facilities in Suffolk. The school have also recently made several keys changes which has enabled the school to progress and improve steadily over the last academic year. In this role you would be joining a hard-working and dedicated team of staff with a real moral purpose and the drive to exceed its own expectations and aspirations. The school's ultimate goal is to enable students to have the same opportunities and quality education so that they are indistinguishable from students graduating from grammar or independent schools.

This position would suit an enthusiastic, passionate and committed Science specialist with strong classroom management skills. This is an exciting opportunity to take on a fresh new challenge and make a real difference in a new school environment.

To be successful in this Science teaching role you will:
Hold QTS, equivalent teaching qualifications or at least a relevant degree (with some classroom experience).
Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearance (if applicable and professional reference checks.
Provide a CV covering the last 10 years of employment history, where possible, and any employment breaks must be explained.
Have the legal right to work in the UK.
