This particular school was rated 'Good' in their last Ofsted inspection. The Head Teacher has been relentless in driving improvement and as a result, the quality of teaching is increasingly strong and pupils are making rapid progress.

Students personal development, behaviour and welfare are good. They enjoy being a part of the strong inclusive school community and have confidence in each other, whilst supporting each other achieve. The quality of teaching in the Maths department is good being one of the best departments in the school.

This school is based in Walthamstow, East London and is easily accessible on the Victoria Line. However, if you are a driver the school has a car park that is accessible for all staff a 2-minute walk from the school.

Salary;
Salary will be based on your experience, in line with the main pay scale (£27,595 - £38963); equivalent daily rates to match your scale.

Responsibilities for this Science Teacher role would include;
*Teaching KS3, KS4 and KS5 Science
*Specialism as a Biologist, Chemist or Physician
*Working as a team and share high level practises with colleagues to remain ahead of the game one of the leading departments within the school
*Genuinely caring about the education of your students, going above and beyond to see them succeed and achieve
*Contributing to the friendly, helpful and driven atmosphere within the school and department
*Constantly upskilling yourself to be the best practitioner you can be
Requirements for you as a Science Teacher include;
*Holding a QTS holder (or equivalent teaching qualification)
*Having an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearance and previous professional references that are at an average of Good or above
*Having a legal right to work in the UK
