The school is currently graded outstanding by Ofsted and last year received the best ever GCSE and A level results in terms of both progress (top 10% nationally) and attainment. This is a successful and academically focused school that specialised in science. Science therefore is very popular with generous timetabling in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 classes. About the role - Science Technician - Kensington and Chelsea, West London
The school is looking for a hardworking individual with a passion for science who will think on their feet, work smart, work safely and help within the Science department. The school will consider applications from both candidates who have worked within a similar role before, or candidates with no science technician experience, but who have a strong science related degree. The science technician's department has 6 full time technicians. Each technician specialises in either Biology, Chemistry or Physics. Within this role, you will be responsible for setting up classrooms and experiments, supporting teachers and students and arranging resources for lessons. The candidate will help drive science both within and outside of the curriculum. The school is committed to making science engaging, stimulating and valued.
