Tradewind are currently working with an engaging, high achieving and inspirational Secondary School in Barnet who are seeking a Science Technician to join their team this September. This will be a full time, long term position commencing in September 2019 and would be best suited to a recent Science Graduate wanting to commence their career in a laboratory setting.

This position will see the successful candidate working within the School's Science laboratory classrooms to facilitate effective Scientific learning. You will be required to assist with the set up and pack up of practical Science lessons in Biology, Chemistry and Physics, and may be required to assist within the class to ensure pupil safety and engagement. A science graduate with experience in two or more science specialisms would be highly regarded.

During our last visit to this school, we were particularly impressed with the polite, courteous and friendly nature of the students. Students here are respectful and kind to their peers and their teachers and genuinely enjoy learning, making this school a wonderful place to work and learn!

Serviced by the Northern line and local buses this school is easily located from South West London. There is also parking available for those who wish to drive.

The successful candidate for this Science Technician position in Merton will:
*Be a recent graduate with a minimum 2:1 Science Degree (any specialism)
*Be competent within a laboratory, and be confident using all scientific apparatus equipment
*Be personable, friendly and approachable
*Be hardworking, organised and have impeccable attention to detail
*Work well both within a team setting and on their own
*Uphold health and safety standard within the laboratory at all times
