Tradewind Recruitment is working with an Ofsted Outstanding mainstream Secondary School in Oldham who are seeking an enthusiastic, organised and professional Science Technician to join their team. This is a full time position (35 hour per week) that will commence after February Half term and run until the end of the academic year in the first instance.

As a Science Technician in Oldham, your responsibilities will include:
* Preparing, setting up, demonstrating and packing down practical Science lessons in accordance with requests from Science Teachers in KS3 - KS5 Biology, Physics and Chemistry classes
* Clean, maintain and repair scientific apparatus and equipment
* Complete inventory checks and order new stock when required

To be successful in this Science Technician position in Oldham, you will:
* Be a Science Graduate (2:1 minimum) eager to commence or continue working within a supportive, fast-paced science field
* Be organised, pragmatic and have strong attention to detail
* Have a confident, personable and professional working manner and be able to take direction and work within a team well

This Secondary School is central located in Oldham and accessible via bus, train and tube from all areas of London.
