Tradewind Recruitment Leicester are looking for Newly Qualified Secondary Teachers for regular day to day supply and long term contracts starting end of August 2020.

You may still be deciding what type of teaching role you want and where you want your ideal setting to to be. You may also be concerned about the impact of Covid-19 on your options. Most importantly - Don't panic!

Can you complete your Induction whilst on long term supply?

Yes you can! You can either complete your Induction over three terms in different schools or in one school should a long-term position full time position be secured. Only placements of one full term will count towards your Induction, and you need to complete the full time equivalent of one full academic year. CPD for NQTs - We continue to develop our CPD courses to help hone the necessary skills in the classroom you'll need as an NQT, such as:

Interview Techniques
How to plan a good lesson in accordance with OFSTED
Effective Questioning in the Classroom
Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) and Safeguarding
Supply Teaching Bible; for everyone new to supply
Creating Behaviour for Learning
