Tradewind Recruitment are recruiting a Secondary Teacher for a school in Lambeth

Tradewind are looking to recruit a Secondary SEMH Teacher for a Secondary Position for their KS3/KS4 students.

The School provides alternative education services to pupils from across South London, working with young people, school and families to offer the best alternative education solutions to fit their needs. This can be through a range of approaches, each tailored to meet the young people's needs:
*Full-time education to children permanently excluded from primary school
*Full-time education to children permanently excluded from secondary school
*Full-time education for children of primary and secondary school age, who are missing education
*Interim placements for children at primary and secondary school age, with statements of Special Educational Needs (SEN), who are awaiting special school provision
*Early intervention placements
*Early intervention behaviour support
*Behaviour support through education psychology and psychotherapy
*Parenting support (one-to-one or group work)
The school provides an essential "Second Chance at Success" for young people from 11-16 years of age, either with an alternative school place or through in school support via our Behaviour Support Outreach Service. Regardless of prior circumstance or future destination we firmly believe that all pupils school should be successful and Leadership do everything possible to deliver this vision.

Applying for his role will require QTS and a passion for teaching, to encourage students and develop them to their full potential. The right candidate will be compassionate and understanding of SEMH, will offer the pupils creativity in the classroom and a passion for creating engaging lessons so the pupils excel in their learning.

To join us and be successful in this SEMH Secondary Teaching Post you will need to:

*This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
*Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
*You must have the legal right to work in the UK
*QTS is essential, also previous experience with SEMH/Autism and challenging behaviour is a must for this role.
