Tradewind Manchester is currently looking for a caring and nurturing SEN Learning Support Assistant, to join an outstanding and successful school in North East Manchester, to start in May 2020. This is a full time, long-term role, with the potential of a permanent contract, paying up to £70 a day.

To join us and be successful in this Learning Support Assistant role, you will need to:
* Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional references checks
* Provide a CV with at least 10 years employment/education history included and any employment breaks must be explained
* Have the legal right to work in the UK

About the role

This Special School is looking for an Learning Support Assistant who can provide 1-1 support to replace someone that has left the school. The child has Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD) and the role will require some personal care. You will be required to support the child throughout class, helping with the delivery of their set curriculum.

You must have prior experience of supporting children with special needs and be a committed practitioner who will want to attain the highest standards in teaching and learning throughout the role.

PECS (Picture Exchange Communication System) experience would be very desirable as this is manly how the child learns.
