An outstanding school with a provision for pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health in Newham, initially with 20 pupils, but growing to a maximum of 45 pupils aged 11-16 are now looking for a Class Teacher to join them. The school are willing to provide training to staff before handing them a classroom of their own. This is an exciting opportunity for a Mainstream trained teacher or a Special Needs Teacher to join an outstanding and a leader school of education.

The school are looking for a compassionate, keen and caring individual to join the team to support 7 pupils with a learning difficulty. Your day as a Teacher will depend entirely on how you support the children and work with a lovely team of support staff. There really are no limits to the interests, passions, hobbies and activities that the students we support enjoy.

The Teacher would:
*Work with pupils who have social, emotional and mental health difficulties
*Helping all students enjoy their learning and get as much out of life as they can
*Identify challenges and ensure that the pupils learn
*Support pupils with communication skills
*Help pupils develop their communication and life skills
*Be part of a growing school

The Teacher we require should have:
*Experience working within Secondary aged pupils or have knowledge of primary curriculum
*Experience in using behaviour techniques within a classroom
*Knowledge of teaching range Ks1 and Ks2
*Must be Caring, Adaptable and highly intuitive
