You don't need to be the most experienced teacher or have to have the best knowledge of SEN but you do need to be committed to development of the students at this school
We are looking for someone who is passionate about the education of young people and more specifically about the education of those children with SEN. You will need to be creative, personable, energetic, engaging and someone the students, staff and parents can rely on. This school has a fantastic support network and provides all its staff with training and support where needed and so you don't have to have an abundance of experience of working with children prior to be successful.
This position is best suited to teachers who have experience working with Autism (ASC) and complex moderate learning difficulties (CMLD). All students in the class will have an Educational Health Care Plan (EHCP). As a SEN teacher, you should be able to adapt your lessons and subject material to suit each student's ability.
