The primary school in Barking & Dagenham, North East London are looking for a compassionate, keen and caring individual to join the team to support 6 pupils with autism. Your day as a Special Needs Teacher will depend entirely on how you support the children and work with a lovely team of support staff. There really are no limits to the interests, passions, hobbies and activities that the students we support enjoy.

The SEN Teacher we require should have:
*To become an SEN Teacher, you will need to be positive and enjoy having a laugh
*It is Desirable that as a Special Needs Teacher, you have a background of Teaching and you have an interest in Psychology and Special Needs
*You will be supporting students in Small Groups with a lot of support from other Teaching Assistants
*All of the classes will also have a Special Needs Teaching Assistants supporting you
*The Primary school is Barking & Dagenham, North East London and has great transport links

It is key for this role that you are positive and enjoy having a laugh. The pupils you will be supporting are an active bunch and enjoy various leisure and activities in the community - including swimming, for example. Please ensure you can commit to this role, as reliability for the students you will be supporting is a key factor. They require stability and need support in accessing activities to allow them to achieve their full potential.

The school is in Barking & Dagenham, North East London , East London and has good transport links through the Overground, C2C, Hammersmith and District Lines.

Essential requirements:
*QTS or Equivalent (QTLS)
*Knowledge of the P Scales Curriculum
*Legal right to work in the UK
*NQT or experienced Teacher
