Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for an experienced SEMH specialist to teach in a primary PRU. The role starts in April 2020 and would be for the rest of the academic year at a daily rate between £130 and £210 per day.

Highly regarded PRU school in Camden that specialises in working with pupils who have significant social emotional and mental health needs (SEMH). The school is a unique facility and have on site mental health specialists to fully support the pupils. They also have a strong senior leadership team who are supported by some excellent therapeutic practitioners to work with SEMH pupils from KS1 - KS2.

-Experience working with SEMH pupils in a PRU setting is preferred but not essential
-Must have taught KS1 or KS2 and hold QTS
-Staff will need to be able to think on their feet and work with energetic challenging pupils.
-Team Teach training would be an asset.
-If you have experience with Lego, Art or Drama Therapy then you are encouraged to apply

You will have a team of two support staff members to assist you who will work throughout the school providing additional support to those pupils who need it most throughout the day.

Located in Camden the school has local bus and tube links however there is no parking on site or in the local area.
