This School is a hub of positivity and inclusive learning! It caters to pupils with profound and multiple learning difficulties including children with Down Syndrome, Autism, Physical Disabilities and Hearing and Sight Impaired. The School aims to break down student's barriers to their learning and social development. Each class operates through a specifically designed curriculum which is best suited to the children's needs. Teachers and senior leaders are innovative with their planning and purposeful with their delivery. The School has high expectations for behaviour and attainment and has created an environment which celebrates diversity and friendship!

In addition, this School has a vast outside learning area and extended campus for outdoor pursuits. Students and staff participate in wood-work, glass marking, gardening, cookery and more. Students are encouraged to go on trips in the community regularly to build on their real-life experience and independence in the public. It truly is a perfect set up for pupils to feel like they can explore the world with the safety of the dedicated school staff by their side.

The ideal candidate for this post, will be an experienced SEN Teacher with a track record of success in teaching Primary aged pupils with complex needs. The School will also consider Primary and mainstream trained Teachers with an interest in SEND and they are willing to provide comprehensive training. The School are looking for a confident teacher with a presence in the classroom that will enthuse and inspire students. They are looking for a forward planner who can assess and adjust to student's needs.
