Tradewind Recruitment have a brilliant opportunity for an experienced and passionate SEN Teacher at a SEMH School in the Croydon area. You will be working with students who may have ASD, EBD and SEMH learning difficulties and you will be supported by the Head of school and SLT as well as 2 Learning Support Assistants in the classroom.

The role will require you to work with your class on their academic and social learning. The Teaching Assistants will support you in class and you will have the Support of the other teachers in school to make sure you are fully getting the best out of the pupils. You will have regular team meetings and in-house training to ensure you are fully equipped with the knowledge and tools to exceed in this role.

The teaching role will require you to work in a challenging environment and have the relevant experience doing so. The role will require you experience within SEN/PMLD/SEMH will be considered, and any training within Makaton/PECS/TeamTeach will be extremely advantageous.
