Tradewind Manchester are currently recruiting on behalf of a two form entry Primary School in Burnage, South Manchester to start ASAP until the Summer 2020. This is a full time, long-term role with a salary from £65 per day.

Graduate SEN Primary Teaching Assistant

-You will be working closely with one child with Autism in Year 3
-Working with the class Teacher and SENDCo to implement strategies and education plans to get the best out of your students
-Creating and delivering your own interventions
-Liaising closely with parents and carers
-Guidance and advice always on offer

To join us and be successful in this Teaching Assistant role, you will need to:

* Hold a Degree or Level 2 Teaching Assistant Qualification
* Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
* Provide a CV with at least 10 years employment/education history included and employment breaks must be explained
* Have the legal right to work in the UK

About the school:

We are recruiting for an SEN Teaching Assistant on behalf of an exciting school, filled with inspirational teachers, support staff and motivated children; who are all working together in order to enable the pupils to achieve their best.

The school is based in Burnage, South Manchester and is accessible via tram, car or bus.

About the role:

The school are looking for a Teaching Assistant to work within their Year 3 class, supporting a child who has Autism and is has a lower ability age. The school are looking for somebody with some knowledge of the National Curriculum and good behaviour management skills.

The role itself will involve supporting a child with Autism within Year 3, helping to differentiate work set and ensuring that they have access to the National Curriculum. Under the direction of the class teacher and SENCO, you will be required to help the student to make progress within phonics, numeracy, reading and writing.
