The role will continue until July 2022 at least. This is a full-time role and the salary will be £75-80 per day, depending on experience.

The role:

• They are seeking a SEN TA to work 1:1 with a boy with Autism to start in September until at least the end of the academic year in July 2022.
• He has been making good progress. He likes routines and the school have developed some good strategies to help him.
• They are ideally seeking a SEN TA with experience of working with children with ASC and who is able to be consistent, calm and patient but who is able to set out clear boundaries and expectations.
• However, enthusiasm is key and if you have some experience of working with children and are looking to specialise into working with children with special educational needs, this could be a brilliant opportunity!

The school is seeking someone positive, patient and who is consistent with rewards and sanctions. Communication skills are also required as you will be working closely with the class teacher, SENCO, parents and on occasions, external specialists.

To join us and be successful in this Special Needs Teaching Assistant role, you will need to:

• Have experience working with children with Autism in a primary school in the UK
• Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
• Provide a CV with at least 10 years of employment/education history included and employment breaks must be explained
• Have the legal right to work in the UK
