Team-Teach Trained Teaching Assistant

Tradewind are recruiting for Team-Teach Teaching Assistant to join our team in Bath. This will be working in a fantastic Special Needs School in Bath. The school are looking to recruit someone ASAP with the view of progressing to a long-term placement. Ideally, they are looking for a Teaching Assistant who is free 5 days a week but will also look at taking on Part-time Teaching Assistants. The rate for this particular role can vary from £60 to £70 a day.

We are looking for:
*You will have to have Team-Teach training, which is in date.
*You have previously worked within an Education/Childcare setting within UK.
*You are available Monday to Wednesday.
*You have a flexible approach and have an understanding of SEND particularly Autism and severe challenging behaviour.
*You are looking for supply Teaching Assistant positions
*You currently reside within Bristol and have your own transport, as public transport is rare in this part of town.

This school is in Bath in a lovely new build. This school caters for children with Autism, Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties. The school offers fantastic facilities including large outdoor areas and sensory rooms.
This school can be quite tricky to get to if you do not live on this side of town and do not own a car. There are buses that can you get you there if you are on public transport but may require you to take more than one bus!

To join us and be successful in this Team-Teach trained Teaching Assistant you will need:
*To hold a teaching assistant qualification or over 6 months experience.
*This position is subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure, Overseas Police Clearance (if applicable) and profession reference checks - At least 2!
*Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks should be noted.
*You must have the legal right to work in the UK.
