We are currently looking for someone to support a disengaged Male pupil with ADHD, Autism on a 1:1 basis in an Alternative Education setting based in Kingswood. The work is full-time and will involve supporting a Year 10 pupil with social and emotional difficulties. The pupil will need to be picked up from a central Bath location and taken to various centres in and around Bath and Kingswood. The ability to manage and de-escalate severe challenging behaviour is a must for this role.

Hours of work is 0830-1530 everyday Monday to Friday term-time. There is generous pay offer for the right candidate. The role is starting asap and will continue for the rest of the academic year and will potentially continue after September.

Previous experience is working within an Alternative Education provision, or PRU setting is highly beneficial. Interest in Martial arts, Music and Sports is highly desirable to build rapport with the student as the work will involve doing activities around Kingswood and Bath area.

  • * Have experience of supporting young people with EBD
  • *Will have access to your own car and get business insurance on it.
  • Will be happy to pick the young person up from Bath and work with them from the School's Bristol and Bath locations.


*Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional references checks
*Have a CV covering at least 10 years employment/education history included and any employment breaks must be explained
*Have the legal right to work in the UK
