SEN Teaching Assistant

Tradewind is currently supporting a mainstream primary school based in Bedford who requires a member of staff who has supported children in a variety of settings with ASC, SEMH, MLD and other special education needs.

This two-form entry primary school was rated 'good' by ofsted in 2019. They have excellent facilities, a supportive team and welcome new members of staff who join. The School is an integral part of the local community and is seeking a new member of staff to start after the Easter break who meets the following criteria:

• Degree Qualified or completed SEN courses such as; Team Teach/Makaton/Pecs
• Experience supporting children with SEN (not necessarily within a School)
• Knowledge of Autism and Social, emotional, mental, health difficulties
• Available to start after the break on a full-time basis (8.30am-4pm)
• Can commit for the full academic year and potentially longer
• DBS on the update service or willing to complete one asap
