Highly regarded SEN school in Brent that works with a wide variety of SEN pupils are looking for an Autism specialist to work with their Autistic (ASC) pupils and additional complex learning needs. The role is working with EYFS-KS2 pupils so experience with early years is essential. The school is a modern purpose-built facility and is expanding in the SEN provision to accommodate an increase in numbers. The school also has playgrounds equipped for physical exploration and interactive play.
-Experience working with Autistic pupils is preferred but not essential.
-Staff will need to be able to think on their feet and work with energetic challenging pupils.
-PECS and Makaton experience is desired.
-Team Teach training would be advantageous.
-EYFS experience is required.
You will be working as a support staff member in a team of three who will work throughout the school providing additional support to those classes who need it most throughout the day.
Located in Brent the school has local bus and tube links however if you are a car driver it is much easier to drive and the school and they have ample parking
