Tradewind Recruitment are seeking to appoint dedicated, highly motivated and inspirational Teaching Assistants for an outstanding 11-19 SEN school in Bury.

You will aid to enhance the learning environment for the pupils, supporting teachers to promote personal development and well-being for all. You will work on your own initiative to help setup the classrooms and activities, lead on small parts of lessons or group work, keep records to track progress and contribute to lesson planning when needed. It is essential you are aware of pupil progress and able to flag potential concerns. Safeguarding the welfare of the young people in our care will be your primary responsibility.

The successful candidate will join a team of professionals working with a range of complex needs including profound and multiple learning difficulties and autism. Experience of working with pupils with special educational needs is essential. We are looking for colleagues who will demonstrate a high level of commitment to these special young people.


You will:

- Have extensive experience and skills in working with pupils with a range of special educational needs and be passionate about helping all their young people to achieve their full potential.
- Be able to demonstrate how their work has had a significant impact on the whole school
- Have excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
- Have the ability to relate to and communicate effectively with parents, colleagues and other professionals
- Be well organised, hardworking and enthusiastic.
