At Tradewind in Bristol, we are looking to recruit a Teaching assistant with experience of working with pupils with BESD and ADHD for a SEND school Chippenham. Our client is an established special needs school within easy reach of motorway in the area and cater for students in KS3-KS4. The successful candidate will have previous experience and be available to work on a full-time basis. Salary will depend on experience.
The school has got a great reputation and offers great training and development opportunities for all their staff in regards to behaviour management and teaching. There is a well-established learning support team available within each classroom to support behaviour management and learning.

Must have:

-Experience of supporting young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties (School is happy to consider both Secondary and some Primary trained and experienced Teaching assistants with relevant EBD experience)

Highly Desirable:

-Special Educational Needs Experience in a care/school/PRU setting
-Understanding and experience of supporting/teaching young people with emotional and Behavioural Difficulties
-Sports or Military or martial arts back ground is highly desirable
-Training in behaviour management and Team teach.
