Tradewind are looking for a qualified SEN Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 with a child in Year 1. For this role the teaching assistant will be working 1:1 with a child with severe behaviour requirements in a mainstream school.

The role of a Teaching Assistant requires that you support the pupils and work closely alongside the classroom teacher with planning, assessments and the children's' progress. You will be required to work in small groups as well as work 1:1 with children with the children who have SEN (ASD, SEBD, MLD etc).

*A Driven and empathetic person who can adapt and can support the teacher and the class to encourage learning.

*Minimum Level 2 or above in childcare/teaching and learning.
*OR
*ideally to have had some previous experience of working as a teaching assistant with experience of working 1:1 with children with special needs or behaviour difficulties.
*Right to work in the UK.
*Enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to process one.
