SEN 1-1 TA in Reception.

Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for a hardworking, ambitious SEN TA in join an 'outstanding' Primary school in Darwen with strong Christian values working in their reception class. At this primary school the staff work effectively together and with other schools in the area. This primary school has a very supportive Senior Leadership Team and all staff are very welcoming. This role starts on 4th June 2019 however handover days are desired if possible.

We are looking for:
*A knowledgeable Teaching Assistant, preferably with experience of SEN and EYFS
*A committed practitioner who aims to gain the highest standards
*A driven and committed individual who is pro-active and able to able to use their own initiative

The successful candidate will be required to support the class teacher with planning for activities and lesson's and liaise with the SENDCO when appropriate. In addition, you will also be required to provide 1:1 and small group support for pupil with complex and additional needs. You must also have an enthusiastic and positive approach to teaching and learning, as well as the ability to quickly build up strong relationships and rapport with individual children is important.

The school is based on the outskirts of Darwen and there is parking available onsite. There is a good network of public transport close by.
