Tradewind are currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to support a young lady in year 11 with high functioning ASD. The school are seeking a Teaching Assistant that can work on a 1:1 basis with this pupil and build on her confidence. Ideally a TA with a strong Literature and comprehension background who has also worked with pupils with SEN in a Secondary setting. The role is full time, Monday to Friday, 08:15-15:30 , and will start ASAP on a long term basis until at least the end of the academic year.

The school is walking distance from the overground station and there is also a school carpark on-site but is first come first serve basis.
Essential requirements:
Experience supporting young people with SEN including ASD.
Previous TA, LSA or support work within a school or other child related experience.
Strong in English Literature and/or Language.
Open-minded, positive and friendly approach.
A caring and professional manner.
Must have legal right to work in the UK.
