This is a full-time role and the salary will be £75-80 per day, depending on experience.

SEN Teaching Assistant:

• Working with two boys in Year 6 with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD).
• Both boys have behaviour issues, usually arising from issues with their classmates.
• The school is seeking someone who can create a positive experience for the boys, by giving them strategies for friendship building, conflict management/ how to behave in class/react to situations etc. They are both very interested in football and candidates who can offer a sporty background would be most welcome.
• You will be working closely with the class team and SENCO in this role and also be working as a general TA when the boys are working well
• The school is seeking a role model who can be a calming, positive influence on the boys in school.

Experience of working with children with SEN children as a special needs assistant, (especially EBD), in a primary setting is preferred but the school welcome enthusiastic candidates who are willing to learn.

The school is seeking someone positive, patient and who is consistent with rewards and sanctions and who is a good team player.

The school is based in Enfield borough, North London. They are close to an overground station and there is on-street parking nearby.

To join us and be successful in this Special Needs Teaching Assistant role, you will need to:

• Ideally have experience working with SEND children in a primary school in the UK
• Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
• Provide a CV with at least 10 years of employment/education history included and employment breaks must be explained
• Have the legal right to work in the UK
