Working in collaboration with a happy, positive City Centre-based Primary School, we seek to recruit a Teaching Assistant to work with a child, with special educational needs, in their Reception Class. The role will commence as soon as possible, and the prospective post holder will be given support and guidance from our friendly and committed staff.

It is essential that the applicant has recent experience of working with children, as well as an understanding of how to support children with special needs. For this post, a minimum qualification of NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) is required and GCSE grade C in both Maths and English (or equivalent) is essential. Relevant training will be provided by outside agencies.

This post is temporary and is dependent on the needs of the child or until the end of the academic year, in the first instance.

Candidates should be professional, understanding issues of confidentiality and the need to protect the welfare of children.
