Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for teaching assistants to work in a special school in Manchester. This will be a full-time role, long terms to start ASAP until Christmas, with the potential of this continuing into 2019. This school is for children aged 4-11 years old.

The school prides itself on their dedication to supporting student with complex needs by providing a safe, enjoyable environment for them to grow and learn. The school received a 'Good' rating from their recent Ofsted report.

The ideal candidate will need the following skills:
*Good behaviour management skills
*Experience teaching students with SEMH and EBD in a mainstream or SEN setting
*Team Teach Trained is desirable
*Adaptable across subjects and a good general curriculum knowledge
*Patient and nurturing mannerism
*Be enthusiastic and willing to be 'hands on' in and out of the classroom.
*Good sense of humour, approachable and flexible

The role:
*Supporting students on a 1:1 basis
*Lead intervention sessions on 1:1 basis or for small groups
*Working collaboratively with class teacher
*A strong, supportive and highly experienced leadership team and governing body
*A good understanding of differentiation and behaviour management

Each provision has great transport links and can be easily accessible by bus or tram from central Manchester. Each of the provision have onsite parking
The school has fantastic facilities for their students to enjoy including a recently refurbished hydrotherapy pool, sensory room, soft play, art room and a food technology room.

*This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
*Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
*You must have the legal right to work in the UK
