SEN Teaching Assistant

Are you an experienced and active SEN Teaching Assistant looking to work with an Autistic children in a lovely mainstream school in Newham? Do you have recent experience working with children with special educational needs? Are you looking for a long-term role, 5 days a week from February?

This three-form, Ofsted rated "Good" school is a welcoming and supportive school that puts the children's learning at the forefront of everything they do. Staff work very much as a team and the children are encouraged to be independent learners.

As the successful Teaching Assistant, you will be supporting a verbal, Autistic child who is very bright. Your role will include supporting his learning and social skills. There is another experienced teaching assistant in the class.

Job Requirements

• Experience of working with SEN children ideally in a mainstream Primary School.
• This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
• Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
• You must have the legal right to work in the UK
