We are looking to appoint a SENCO School Administrator to work within a popular South Liverpool Secondary School. This post will suit a candidate who has the motivation, positive attitude, and resilience to help make a difference to students with a range of social, emotional, mental health and other special educational needs within a mainstream setting catering KS3 to KS5. Prior experience working in a SEN environment, SEN school department or the local authority is desirable. You will be required to work alongside the allocated school SENCO, mainly completing admin duties for the department, experience in an education setting is essential.

The ideal candidate will:
* Work with the school SENCO to ensure that effective administrative systems are in place for the department
* Fulfil the operational duties of the SEN administrative role including maintenance of up to date SEND student record data and pupil folders, completion of records for SEND reviews, maintaining and updating the school SEND records/database
* Provide regular information to staff, the Local Authority and external agencies, parents and carers
* Work effectively with teaching staff and other external agencies to collect relevant SEN/pupil information
* Administrative support to the SENCO as required - minute taking, letters, emails, diary management
