Are you a Teaching Assistant looking for a new opportunity in a Primary school based in Gatacre.
This is a full-time position on a long-term temporary contract, working 5 days per week 8:30am for morning briefing until 4.00pm for afternoon briefing, term time only. You will be required until Easter half term.
The school, whose most recent OFSTED graded the school Outstanding, cater for KS2 - KS3 pupils who have Autism, ADHD, attachment issues and mental health needs. The school aims to ensure that they give them the necessary support to improve their confidence, self-esteem, self awareness and emotional regulation.
The ideal candidate for this role will have want to gain excellent experience in a school that really leads the way in regards to developing children with attachment disorders. You will be someone who is not afraid to set clear boundaries on what behaviour you will accept, whilst having a very calming demeanour.

*Excellent communication and behaviour management techniques
*Confidence in dealing with challenging behaviour
*Be able to confidently work as part of the team and independently
