Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for an experienced ASC and complex needs specialist to work with autistic pupils who have additional complex needs in a small but growing SEN school. The role starts ASAP and would be for the rest of the academic year (with the option to continue on a permanent basis)

This Ofsted rated 'GOOD' SEN school caters for children with ASC and complex needs pupils, is based in Dudley and they are recruiting as the school is expanding, due to increase in pupil numbers. The school is a small setting with single storey purpose built school, set within attractive grounds with extensive sensory and play facilities

-Experience working with Autistic & SEND pupils is preferred but not essential
-Candidates who can utilise ABA (applied behaviour analysis) are encouraged to apply.
-Pupils are non-verbal and have a lot of additional needs as such experience within an SEN school setting is essential.
-PECS and Makaton experience is desired.

You will be working as a support staff member in a team of three who will work throughout the school providing additional support to those classes who need it most throughout the day.

Located in Dudley, the school is accessible via bus with a stop less than 100 yards away and free parking on sight.

*Have an Enhanced DBS Disclosure or be willing to get on through Tradewind at the cost of £52.50 refunded after 10 days of work, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
*Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
*You must have the legal right to work in the UK
*Level 3 teaching assistant qualification.
