Are you a dynamic and resourceful teacher with the skills to work with Autism?

A newly furbished specialist school, in Birmingham, are looking for a dedicated teacher to join their supportive team and teach a class of 8 children with ASD a mixture of pupils in KS2&3 for an Easter 2020 start.

This setting, specialising in the care and education of children with Autism, is looking to expand its capacity in the new academic year, further growing its presence in the community and involvement with families.

The person they are looking for:
*Confidence with ASD and challenging behaviour
*Long term commitment from a practitioner that considers school life another family
*A collaborative, driven individual who will play a part in the setting's expansion
*Ideally someone with Team Teach training (not mandatory)

The role:
*5 days per week
*term time only
*8 children in class
*All high functioning and verbal
*3 LSAs to support learning

Very accessible via public transport and car with free secure parking on site

The essentials To join us and be successful in this Teacher role you will need to:
*Hold QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification
*This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
* Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
* You must have the legal right to work in the UK
