Special Needs Teacher needed in Birmingham specialising in Autism

Tradewind Recruitment are working with an Outstanding Special School based in Birmingham that caters for pupils with autism / ASC / ASD across all key stages.

The School is expanding and looking for a qualified Teacher (NQTs welcome) with a passion for SEND on a long term basis. You will be required to teach mixed ability classes and must have previous experience in teaching pupils with autism.

The School has high standards of teaching and learning, and is committed to ensuring that all pupils achieve their full potential. You must have high expectations of achievement, a vibrant and creative approach to learning, commitment to excellence and outstanding outcomes in both academic and emotional and social development. Experience of Makaton and PECS would also be essential for this role to communicate effectively with the students to ensure they make progress, both academically and socially.

The role starts immediately, with great rates of pay. The school is easy accessible with great forms of public transport links and an onsite secure carpark.
