INTERNATIONAL OPPORTUNITY AVAILABLE

An Outstanding Primary school in Newham (inner London) with a successful provision for pupils with Social and Emotional difficulties are currently looking for a Special Needs Teacher, Secondary Teacher or Primary Teacher who is willing to Teach in a Resource Provision for pupils in Lower Primary (KS1) and Upper Primary (KS2) who have moderate learning difficulties and social and emotional difficulties.

The school are willing to provide training to staff before handing them a classroom of their own.

The Teacher would:

Work with pupils who have social and emotional difficulties
Helping all students enjoy their learning and get as much out of life as they can
Identify challenges and ensure that the pupils learn
Support pupils with communication skills
Help pupils develop their communication and life skills
The Teacher we require should have:

Experience working within Primary
Experience in using behaviour techniques within a classroom
Knowledge of teaching range - early years to KS2 (upper primary)
Must be caring, adaptable and highly intuitive
Classroom Details:

6 Pupils with 3 Support staff and 1 HLTA in the classroom
KS1 and KS2

To join us and be successful in this Special Needs Teacher role you will need to:

Hold QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification (BEd or Grad Dip Teaching)
This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
You must have the legal right to work in the UK
