It is key for this role that you are positive and enjoy having a laugh. The individuals you will be supporting are an active bunch and enjoy various leisure and activities in the community - including swimming, for example. Please ensure you can commit to this role, as reliability for the individuals you will be supporting is a key factor. They require stability and need support in accessing activities to allow them to achieve their full potential. Your main responsibilities will be to make the day-to-day decisions easier for the people children and teach them to get the most out of life as possible. As a Special Needs Teacher, all you'll need to have is a positive attitude and a desire to improve the lives of those with a learning disability.
The Teacher would:
*Work with pupils who have autism and complex learning difficulties
*Helping all students enjoy their learning and get as much out of life as they can
*Identify challenges and ensure that the pupils learn
*Support pupils with communication skills
*Help pupils develop their communication and life skills

The Teacher we require should have:
*Experience working within Primary
*Experience in using behaviour techniques within a classroom
*Knowledge of teaching range Ks3 and Ks4
*Must be Caring, Adaptable and highly intuitive

*Hold QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification
