Tradewind Leicestershire are recruiting! We are very fortunate to work in partnership with a number of the areas alternative provisions as their preferred supplier. Due to this we have a high demand for specialist Teaching Assistants wishing to work with vulnerable and disengaged pupils with additional needs. We are currently recruiting for their Loughborough based provision.
The roles are full time and on a temporary to permanent basis for the right individual.
Function of role:
To support and maintain a high level of learner engagement through collaborative preparation and delivery of an innovative, creative and flexible curriculum. To use a collaborative and multiagency holistic approach to delivering an education provision which includes attention to health and safety awareness, risk management and the safeguarding of young people.
The successful TA will work 1:1 and deliver across the curriculum in an engaging and inspirational manner. They will be required to complete the relevant administrative tasks to support the role and feedback progress to their learning manager.
You must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle to be considered for the role.
Ideal candidates have a holistic approach to education and use a calm approach to learning. MAPA training and de-escalation training ideal.
Counselling certificates and a passion for mental health and well being sought.
