Tradewind recruitment is currently looking for confident and engaging sports graduates and sports coaches to work as Teaching Assistants in our local schools in Chippenham and Swindon. Our client schools cater for Primary and Secondary ages and most of the Special Educational needs settings are keen offer supply work to sports coaches in the capacity of a teaching assistants.

Working hours are between 0830-1530, and can be between Monday to Friday and it will involve working with pupils who have additional needs on a 1:1 or in class basis. You will get to choose which days you can work and we can offer you flexible work that you can manage with your coaching commitments. You will be able to change your availability from week to week.

This type of work will offer you new experience as a teaching assistant in schools in your local area, where you will be able to use your skills in sports in more of an educational setting outside sports. You will also get to meet lots of schools in your local area where you will build rapport and good relationships which could benefit your work as a sport coach. Some schools might also require you to run or assist in PE lessons, but we can not guarantee this always to be the case.

The schools we work are within commutable distances from Chippenham and Swindon.

* Have experience of working with children and/or young adults in a sports capacity.
*Will have confidence to manage behaviour and support young people with additional needs.

*Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional references checks
*Have a CV covering at least 10 years employment/education history included and any employment breaks must be explained
*Have the legal right to work in the UK
