We work with a number of schools in the Cambridge are who we support with course cover and sickness absence cover. The assignments we receive for our teachers are for day to day cover as well as longer term assignments that can last up to an academic year.

We are looking to appoint several teachers who are flexible, organised and efficient with good standards and the ability to make learning fun in a range of differing settings We will support your career and development by offering access to 35 accredited CPD courses, available to you free of charge.

This Post can be Full time or Part Time

The Teacher would:
*Work with pupils in a variety of different settings and schools
*Help all students enjoy their learning and progress in line with their own learning objectives
*Deliver effective and engaging lessons, sometimes without the aid of a TA
*Support pupils with communication skills
*Work with pupils with ESOL
*Work in line with each school's behaviour policy

Classroom:
*Experience working with ESOL or TEFL would be advantageous
*Working with pupils who are keen to learn
*You will have the ability to make learning fun, regardless of ability or catchment
*A variety of different pupils in the classroom with or without support from a Teaching Assistant
*Ranges of children of all ability levels
*Knowledge of teaching KS1 or KS2

The Teacher will be required to deliver planned lessons to students at short notice so a thorough knowledge of the curriculum is advantageous.

We work with a number of different schools in Cambridgeshire, ranging from 1 form entry village schools to 3 form entry central City Schools. Most schools are well-served by local transport links, trains and buses and most also have on-site parking for the teaching staff.

The schools with whom we work have high expectations of the staff visiting them whilst on supply. The work will be pre-planned for you and left with detailed notes on the class, the lesson and how to achieve the best results from your day for both you and the class.
