Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking day to day teaching assistants for schools across North Yorkshire. Candidates applying must have experience working with children between the ages of 3-11, and have supported teachers in Ks1 and Ks2 before.

Jobs can vary from day to day to long term and pay can vary between £55- £60 per day. Candidates are encouraged to apply now ready for the new academic year, and it is essential that those applying are enthusiastic, approachable and can work as part of a team.

All school's we work with are modern, up to date and have some fantastic resources, helping the activities planned be exciting and engaging. The schools prefer practitioners who have previous TA experience and who can provide intervention and classroom support. Ideally, they are seeking a practitioner who has a bubbly, charismatic personality that helps captivate children and young people. Additionally, they must be willing to contribute any ideas they have to help support those who work there.

The successful candidate should:
*Have experience working with children in either KS1 or KS2.
*Understand the roles and responsibilities of a Teaching Assistant
*Feel confident to lead small group activities
*Hold a level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
