Are you a special needs support assistant looking for your next role in Bolton?

Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for an ambitious, caring and passionate support worker to join a growing special needs school in Bolton. This will be a full time, long term position until the end of the academic year. Pay will vary depending on experience between £60 - £75 a day.

The secondary special school in Bolton is maintained by the local council with all pupils with education health care plan. The school caters for pupils aged 11 - 18 with severe or profound learning difficulties.

We are looking for:
* Experience working with SLD, PMLD or ASC
* Some pupils are non-verbal some have additional needs as such experience with SEN pupils is required
* Ability to respond to everyday situations
* Ability to communicate with others clearly
* Passionate, caring and approachable personality

The role:
* Working in small groups or 1:1 with students
* Supporting the class teacher
* Help continue to create a positive learning atmosphere
* Develop good professional relationships with students and other staff member

The school has fabulous newly refurbished facilities, including sensory rooms, indoor pool and beautiful outdoor space for the pupils to enjoy whilst they learn. Students benefit from a great team of experienced staff, with a supportive Senior Leadership Team.
