Tradewind Recruitment have been asked by a successful and welcoming private primary school to assist them in finding two outstanding primary teachers to cover maternity. One post would be to cover Year 1 (16 pupils, starting in February) with the other in Year 3 (12 pupils, starting in March). There are two classes in each year group with teachers planning together, along with the additional support of teaching assistants.


The school are willing to consider highly rated NQT's and those with experience. They are focused on securing the right person for the classes regardless of experience and are willing to pay M1 (£24,859) to UPS3 (£40,520) on either the equivalent daily rate or fixed term contract. The school have also highlighted that following a successful placement, an ongoing/permanent role could well be offered.

This is a very rewarding opportunity to work in with a unique, family feel environment. All classes are smaller than the average meaning lessons can be tailored specifically to each pupil. With this approach, pupils behaviour is very good and they achieve extremely well with many earning scholarships and entry to grammar schools. This does require hard work during term time but the successful teachers will be rewarded with additional holiday!
