Are you an Inspirational Secondary Teacher looking for a full time long term contract?

Tradewind Preston are delighted to be working with an Alternative Provision in Preston to recruit an experienced Secondary Teacher to start with them on the 22^nd February 2021 on a long-term contract. This position will run until at least July 2021 with the potential to go permanent.

The successful candidate will work closely with staff and children to provide high quality in-class teaching as well as leading targeted interventions within the Nurture Provision. Classes have a maximum of 6 pupils in each.

The ideal candidate for this role will have had a minimum of 6 months experience working within Alternative Provisions or similar settings.

Experience delivering class teaching to KS3 and KS4 pupils, small group and 1:1 intervention within Maths, Science or English to Functional Skills/ GCSE level.

The Alternative Provision has a warm family feel and staff make you feel welcome. Additionally, they have a strong SLT team and always happy to help develop staff that go in on supply. You are made to feel like a permanent member of staff wither your there for 1 day or long term.

The school is easily accessible from the M55 and M65 or a bus stop located outside the school.

To join us and be successful in this Secondary Teacher role you will need to:

• Hold Level 3 or Degree Qualified
• QTS or PGCE
• Knowledge and understanding working with challenging behaviour, trauma and Social and Emotional behavioural difficulties
• This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure
• Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
• Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
• You must have the legal right to work in the UK
