Tradewind are working with a fantastic school in rural Lincolnshire, looking for an art teacher to cover an ongoing sickness. Due to the nature of a sickness we are unable to confirm length of contract, but the minimum length from the school is until Easter. The school is a good school, and student behaviour is regularly commented on as good. For this reason, it is one of our favourite partnership schools, and staff thoroughly enjoy working there.

You will be joined by one other teacher in this average sized comprehensive school, and the teacher is very experienced and a truly excellent practitioner. For this reason, we would welcome applications from NQTs. This could be a great opportunity to learn from an experienced member of staff, gaining invaluable teaching techniques. We would also welcome applications from experienced members of staff who could fill in and 'hit the ground running'. Having some experience teaching photography would be desirable but not essential, as there is a class of photography.

The school is located within commutable distance of: Grimsby, Lincoln and Boston, meaning it is easily accessible. The position will involve all planning, marking and associated duties of a teacher, meaning that this position will be paid to scale. For this reason, the successful applicant can expect to earn between £120 and £180 per day. We would similarly consider applications from teachers who do not have an art specialism, but who have taught art in some capacity in the past. The school is ready to be flexible for the right candidate, and could shift the timetable to incorporate technology or similarly related subjects into the successful applicants timetable.

The position will ideally be filled with a full time candidate, however it may be possible to negotiate down to a four day or even a three day working week.
