This is an exceptional school based in Newham. They are a 11-16 comprehensive school at the heart of its community. In their last Ofsted the inspectors found that the school has maintained the good quality of education and 'made strong progress in many aspects of the school's provision' since their previous inspection. Their many strengths are highlighted, including how students are 'courteous and articulate' and 'say they enjoy school and value the wide range of opportunities they are given'. They are very proud that the report recognises our high aspirations, the hard work and good behaviour of our students, and the dedication and commitment of our staff.

Design Technology is a popular option at GCSE and we currently have 5 GCSE classes studying Design Technology, 3D Design and Hospitality & Catering. The successful candidate would be part of a strong Creative Arts team and would have the opportunity to teach the majority of their timetable in their specialism and develop Construction Level 1 & 2 Award option pathway alongside any additional teaching within the faculty.
