Are you an enthusiastic English teacher seeking a new full time role from September?
A small secondary academy in West Suffolk are seeking an English Teacher to join their welcoming team of staff from September. The successful English teacher will be expected to take on all classroom and teaching responsibilities and lead inspiring lessons to KS3 and KS4 students. The school are able to consider applications from NQT's or those with experience. The role will be for the full academic year at least with the school offering either a permanent/fixed term contract or temporary to permanent arrangement. The school is best accessible by car with on-site parking available and is commutable from Suffolk, Essex and Cambridge.
With strong leadership in place, the school continues to progress and improve steadily year on year. Relationships between staff, students and parents are positive and as a result, pupils are happy and engage well in their learning. In this role you would be joining a hard-working and dedicated team of staff with a real moral purpose and the drive to exceed its own expectations and aspirations. The school's ultimate goal is to enable students to have the same opportunities and quality education so that they are indistinguishable from students graduating from grammar or independent schools.

To be successful in this English teaching role you will:
Hold QTS, equivalent teaching qualifications or at least a relevant degree (with some classroom experience).
Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearance (if applicable and professional reference checks.
Provide a CV covering the last 10 years of employment history, where possible, and any employment breaks must be explained.
Have the legal right to work in the UK.
